Since 2018, mail has become part of my artistic practice; I currently send mail to 600+ people on an almost monthly basis via my MAIL DAY tier on Patreon.

I began working with mail as a narrative medium during COVID, when I wrote an interactive mail narrative/puzzle that was mailed in parts to a group of friends. Since then, I have continued to experiment with mail as a medium, sending short stories through the mail.

MAIL TRUCK MAIL TRUCK (2024)

MAIL TRUCK MAIL TRUCK is a short story about a postal carrier, inspired by the new USPS trucks. It was prototyped for a class project as part of my MFA in Visual Narrative at SVA, and a version of this will be mailed to my Patreon subscribers in early 2025.

A printable .pdf of the short story is available here.

The envelope MAIL TRUCK MAIL TRUCK is delivered in(this will be changed for direct mail mailings as I do not wish to get in trouble with the USPS).

Remember August(2022)

Remember August is an experimental immersive live keepsake game, about old forgotten friendships and lost memories, played to the ritual and cadence of sending and receiving mail. Remember August is played by writing and mailing one half of a letter correspondence to your childhood friend, who is lost in time.

In February 2022, over seven hundred players received the letters via postal mail, and were asked to respond to their friend August. There were eight letters in total, approximately two a week. Players were encouraged to use the hashtag #rememberaugust when posting their letters on social media.

Remember August won the 2022 Indiecade Tabletop Game Award.

UNSET 1965 (2022)

Unset 1965 was a live mail narrative that spanned 8 months, delivered via the USPS. Using direct mail services, I delivered 9 letters over the course of 8 months, to over 800 people, documenting a slow desert gothic horror story of a lonely woman falling in love with a motel.

It is available for Pay-What-You-Want on itch.io.
